The band that made it through the grunge period. One of the greatest bands of all time. Here comes the trolls. The Beatles are the best. Alice In Chaines rule too. I absolutely love The Cardigans and ELO. Music rules. Life would suck without it.
Metallica is one of those bands that, while I appreciate the quality of their music, I can't enjoy it because the fandom around them is so intense its permanently left a bad taste in my mouth. sorta like the Beatles.
@guppy507: I dunno, Death Magnetic was full of thrashy riffs and solos. It was plenty metal.
I don't know why people are talking bad about Metallica. They had a mid-period lull but they're awesome live and the last album was pretty cool. Not to mention their absolute classic albums. *shrugs*
Why is it always band/metal/guitar-type music? Is that what it's assumed all WoW players are into? Isn't that a gross generalisation, or is it actually true?
